E-mail as evidence in Romanian courts of law

I receive many questions about how to bring emails as evidence in legal cases. Since the Romanian laws do not regulate e-mails per se as evidence,  the rules that apply in cases which involve electronic correspondence as evidence are those from the written evidence, with special emphasize on preserving and presenting them in a way that they are reliable, given the electronic nature of this type of communication.
